Laure Birchler

Since childhood I have always been a determined person, even though a lack of self-confidence has often been a challenge. Curious and resourceful, I grew up surrounded by people from diverse cultures, which enriched my view of the world. From a very young age I perceived people’s energies, their emotions, sometimes even their thoughts, without being fully aware of it. I sensed presences, had premonitory dreams and received intuitive flashes, without really understanding their meaning. Over time these faculties became more refined, and I learned to tame them. Today I also serve as a channel and pass on the messages I receive when they come through.

Some of my life choices were not always understood by those around me, but I have always stood by my decisions, whatever their consequences. My professional path has been varied: after an apprenticeship as a sales administrator, I worked in itinerant trade, then devoted several years to my family. I later found my footing again by working for my father, my sister and then my brother, which allowed me to gain experience in administration, accounting and human resources. At the same time, I ran the painting business of my children’s father together with him.

At 33, my life took a decisive turn. I chose to refocus on myself and my three children. It was at that moment that I felt a new, intense energy in my hands, a burning sensation I did not yet understand. A medium, who later became a trusted person, once told me: “You will do good with your hands.” At the time, that idea seemed improbable to me! With my dynamic, spontaneous and sometimes blunt temperament, I was far from imagining that I could relieve people through touch and become a massage therapist.

My life, marked by complex challenges and invisible health problems, including several autoimmune diseases, has taught me resilience. Over time, I have been fortunate to cross paths with people of great kindness and deep spiritual openness, who helped me grow.

In 2015 I completed my training in massage therapy — a revelation for me. Since then, my thirst for learning has never stopped. My profession has become a true passion, fulfilling me far beyond what I could have imagined. In March 2019 I organised the first edition of the Salon du Bien-Être par la Médecine Alternative et la Spiritualité at the Hôtel de Ville de Romont, a project especially close to my heart. In 2021 I obtained my restaurateur’s licence with Gastro Fribourg, another string to my bow.

The future is still full of projects, and I do not know where I will be in a few years. What I do know is that I deeply love my profession. Despite the need to slow down because of my health concerns, I keep moving forward with a smile, carried by my passion and my dreams.
